The Frame
- Four pieces of pallet wood should be cut and made 163 cm high. This can be done with a chop saw.
- A chop saw can be used to cut four pieces of wood into pieces measuring 99 cm.
- The front of the frame should be built first. Drill a small hole at the ends and then hammer in a 15cm nail. This should be done on all four corners.
- To add stability to the frame, place a center piece.
The back of the frame will be built exactly the same as the front, but the center piece of wood should not be.
Four sections should be cut into 46 cm pieces.
Turn it upside down and attach the back to the frame.
Place The Lats
Measure from the front to cut the lats. These should be fixed.
MDF Board To Cover The Frame
Make thin MDF boards, cut them to size and attach them to the bars frame’s front and sides (not the back).
Enhance The Bar Top
Run some thin lats through a tablesaw to cut them, then nail them to the top of the bar.
Edge The Top And Bottom
Long pallet lats can be used to screw the bar’s top and bottom. The top edging should be raised approximately one inch. The floor should be level with the bottom edge. Fill the holes with wood filler.
Edge The Sides And Center Strip
These will be screwed in. Then, follow the same process: fill in the holes with wood filler.
Sand And Paint
To paint the Chap fence, you can use this paint.
Optional: You can add a shelf to the back by measuring inside and screwing in two thick pallet lats at the center. Next, attach a piece plywood to the back and add a edge to the front.
This shelf can be used to store extra glasses and bottles for your guests. Your DIY pallet bar can be used to serve drinks directly from the top.
This bar is very easy to build, and it looks great for hosting parties.
