Everyone loves to impress their friends. This is possible by making something from your own hands. A wall made from pallets.
This project is simple and free! This rustic pallet bench can be made with just a few pallets.

1. Disassemble Two Pallets
This is not a fun part.
2. Reduce Top Boards In Half
It is best to use a Table Saw (shown), but you can also use a Circular Saw.
3.Arrange Boards Side-by-side
You can arrange the boards in a unique pattern by changing the quality and color.
4. Leg Boards Made From Cut Boards
Use the structural boards (the thicker boards at the middle of the pallet) from the pallet.
5. Glue The Halved Boards Together
Place the halved boards cut side down on a flat surface and apply a lot of wood glue.
6. Secure The Boards Together
You can use as many clamps you need, and then buy more. Wipe off the access glue from both sides.
7. Draw The Leg Boards On The Bench
This is slightly more difficult. Pallet wood is extremely irregular and hard. You need to number each leg before you outline. Next, make sure that you use the same numbered boards on the bench section you outlined. You can simply outline the bench by marking it so that you can cut the legs.
8. Mark The Leg And Pre-Drill Holes For Screws
The bench’s side will be used to mark the length of the leg. Pre-drill 3 to 4 holes, but not all the way through, so that the screw you use later is recessed in the wood. Or, you can drill a pilot hole in the wood and then use an exterior recessed deck screw. You can do whatever is easiest.
9. Jigsaw The Outlined Corners On The Bench
This is a tricky part because you need to be careful not to cut too deeply into the wood. To help you separate the pieces that you wish to cut from those that will remain, use a jigsaw slowly and a prying tool.
10. Use 8 Cm Exterior Deck Screws To Attach Legs
11. Install Wooden Bands On The Sides
This will give your bench a finished appearance and hide all the screws. The largest pieces you have on your pallets should be used. You don’t have to use the exact same size pieces, but it is good to have similar sizes. A nail gun or a drill can be used, but screws are not recommended for attaching because they take away from the rustic look.
12. Sand Away
Assuming that people will be using this bench, you’ll need to remove any potential splinters.
13. Sit
It’s done! It’s that simple! It doesn’t have to be perfect. Pallet furniture’s whole purpose is to be easy and not require expert knowledge.
You can also play with the design. You can paint or stain each section of the seating before you glue it together to create a unique look.
