SOUTHRIDGE ROUND 4 FEB 4
It rained up to the second race in the Winter Series. The sun rose with perfect 70 degree temperatures and dried the courses to perfection. As evidenced by the stars who attended, Southridge is becoming a hot spot.
RACE NOTES
*Southridge Cyclery is styling. Mike Thompsons RV Super Stores joined the Southridge Racing Club as the new sponsor. Their fully-equipped 32 Fleetwood Flairs 5500W generator produced double power to power all of the new timing computers. These results now have their full names!
*This event saw experts, beginners and sports all racing the same downhill course. Round 2 also featured the new starting ramp, complete with countdown clock/light tree. It was a huge hit with riders.
*The fourcross course has been completed. SRC may hold their first four-cross race next weekend if the weather cooperates.
*Another addition is the continuation and cutting of the downhill section on freshly-cut singletrack. The cross-country course is currently 8 miles long with 396.2m of climbing per lap.
*Terry Martin, 58 years old, placed fifth in single speed between the shooting of the photos.

602A: Turner-661 rider Shawn Evans was third fastest downhiller. Shawn tests prototypes at Southridge for Turner.
Eric Beingesser lost 23kg in a year. Eric Beingesser has become a serious threat to the sport class. Here he is rounding a short track carousel corner.
Eric Carter, World Fourcross Champion, raced incognito with Larry Loopout. To be the last rider was to fight the wind every step of the way.
MBAs Eddie Arnet and Michael Gould race through the park on the track. It’s hard to believe that they raced in the burbs.
Eric Carters Downhill Clinics have been a great success ONE-ON-1. They include mental preparation, technique, practice, and the race.
START PACELINE: AFPs Sean Donovan is leading out Gears Racings Ricky Federau, Intenses Amon Prease. Federau is currently the Canadian National Champ.
