I wanted to save money and be able to move it around easily. As I expected, it was a great purchase. It has been used for weekends hobbies and to move it around on my back porch when needed. This is mostly to prevent sawdust accumulation inside the house. It’s performed as expected. They are easy to repeat and have held up. The miter guide is too small and fragile to be accurate.
- Craftsman Professional Fence, a strong, two-handled saw that is ideal for deck and rough-in work, is the best. The fence will not align with the blade if you don’t have a measuring tape or put in some effort. This miter saw gauge is one of the most inefficient I have ever used. The miter saw gauge has a side to side movement that makes precise miters impossible. It folds up easily for transport and storage. If you make a cabinet with mitered doors, there may be gaps of 1/20 cm. These will need to filled later. It’s a DIY lending collection that I built, and it turned up amazing. The saw is good enough to handle the more delicate items that I specialize in.
